It all started with a text from my good friend Kirk’s son, Travis, who lives in Petaluma, CA. Kirk and I were having lunch at our favorite restaurant, Heyday, in Palm Springs, when Travis asked if I could create some art featuring a skull—something I had never done before. Halfway through lunch, inspiration struck. I asked the waiter for a pen, and by the end of the meal, I had a concept sketched out, which you can view here.
